FRIENDS FOR OVER FIFTY YEARS

It's Sunday of New Year's weekend. Snow is falling for the millionth day in a row. My to-do list is a mile long (help RK shovel, take down tree, write thank you notes, tons of laundry and so on). But instead i'm going to play blog catch up.

This is a look back to an amazing glitzy and glittery evening during Thanksgiving weekend...a smashing start to our holiday season.
Who: The fabric of my life. Fifty plus years of friendship. Multi-generational BFFs all. Husbands and wives. Mothers and daughters. Sons. Brothers. Cousins. Aunts. Uncles. Neighbors and the best of friends--most united by BRS and by Mt. Holly, Holly Branch and Old Cross River Roads. We came from MA, NH, VA, RI, CT and beyond for a NY evening on our former home turf. So much history. So many memories. And now we have a new one.
Where: The BG&TC
What: Mandatory bow ties for the guys. Faux (and i bet a few real) baubles for the gals
Why: In celebration of RPCC's 80th Birthday
When: Saturday nite
