Time to celebrate! Today is TFD's last round of chemo. It's been a tough six months for my beloved cousin. She is my hero. She's so strong and such an inspiration to all of us as she's never missed a beat in her life as a wonderful mother, daughter, wife, sister, cousin, friend, landlord and author.
Months ago when her she first described the intense course of treatment that lay ahead of her, we talked about the fact that she'd have it all behind her as 2010 dawned. And that's going to happen! May 2010 be a year of new beginnings; health-wise, book-wise and now knitting-wise too!
