What a lovely Easter sunday! (I'm obviously blogging a bit backwards in order to play catch up.) What a perfect day to spend on the porch on Rowley Shore. Too bad we had to eat inside. Family (a relatively small crowd this year), good friends, laughter, delicious food & wine....and sunshine. I think the mercury hit 80! It doesn't get much better than that. And it's not often you get to wear summer clothes on Easter...without a sweater or overcoat. My contribution to the feast was the pistachio lime angel food cake from April's Bon Appetit. A little too sweet for my taste, especially as i went a bit overboard and decorated it with peeps, jelly beans, and beautiful chocolate truffles from Beacon Hill Chocolates.
